Our indoor cycling program gives you access to a professionally-coached “spin” workout that is tailored specifically for triathletes. Our aim is to make you a better cyclist by focusing on strength, stamina, and technique – and along the way you’ll have a lot of fun! This year you may choose from three class time options in coach Shannon Boughn’s new studio in the Mission.

17th Street Athletic Club uses top-of-the line Stages indoor cycling bikes with accurate power meters to give you the most consistent benchmarks to train consistently across the 13-week class. You don't need to bring your own bike.
Coach Shannon Boughn is co-owner, founder of 17th Street Athletic Club with Marissa Axel. The two have 30 years of health and fitness industry experience in San Francisco. They've managed small studios, worked at large gyms, run diverse fitness programs, and found success as trainers, coaches, and athletes. Shannon has coached hundreds of athletes for races ranging from 5k runs in the Presidio through Ironman Competitions in Brazil, Canada, and New Zealand.
