A club favorite for its super fun loop and limitless extension options, landing us at Bovine Bakery followed by a drive up to Marshall to eat baked goods and grilled oysters, baked brie and clam chowder by the side of the bay from the Marshall Store.
It's about 1hr 15min drive from the city to the start point but totally worth it.
DISTANCE: 34 miles
TERRAIN: Lots of rolling hills, two big climbs - Marshall Wall and Red Hill (to the Cheese Factory)
RIDE STYLE: This will be a semi-drop ride for the 34 mile option - this is because we want you to ride non-stop at your own pace for the 34 miles. No long rests, no big chat breaks. Instead we ride!
EXTRA CREDIT OPTION
Do a wider loop! You split off at mile 13.7 by turning right on Wilson Hill Road, instead of left onto Marshall Petaluma Road. We will separate into 2 groups at the start for each distance and meet up at the bakery at the end.
When you have finished your ride, quickly put your bike away, pull on your running shoes and head out for a 15 minute run. Head North on Mesa Road, cross Highway 1 and continue on Mesa Road until you hit 7.5 minutes. Here is a map

WHAT TO BRING
If planning to run after, please remember running shoes. We are not planning any major regroups on this ride so you need to be 100% self-sufficient. Bring water, food, spare tubes, air/pump, tire irons, ID, cash and a cell phone at the very least. Bring extra cash/cc for our post ride meal. Also, make sure you print out the turnsheet and bring your own copy.
