Swim clinic from Ted. This session will work on straight legs and gliding. We will add some pace training this week. Do not eat on your way to the pool. If you can complete this workout, you will be ready for Napa.
The first 4 to sign up are in. You will need to bring a photo ID, your own swimsuit, goggles, towel and soap. A lock is optional but not required. Showers and pool are free.
Meet at the county parking lot across from Quinn's Lighthouse.
Times are estimates and not exact. The pool is open all day and usually empty on Sunday afternoons.
Agenda: It is not required to follow the agenda, it is helpful for people training up to their first triathlon.
1:10 - Meet in parking lot
1:15 - Pile in to Ted's car to commute to pool
1:30 Swim start (swim lessons, as required)
200 meter warm up (25 meter pool)
200 meter stroke practice
100 meter up tempo swim
1200 meter swim with random 50 meter tempo's
100 meter up temp swim
100 meter cool down with practice
2:30 commute to parking lot
The swim may go to 3:00 if everyone wants to continue.
