THIS RIDE IS OPEN TO ALL CLUB MEMBERS
This weekend, we're heading South to the Peninsula for some pretty climbs and descents. Our main ride is around 37 miles and visits Old La Honda, Skyline Blvd and Kings Mountain.
Extra credit options will add more climbing and more miles with a 53 mile and 65 mile option.
Rideshare sign up here, don't be shy!
Distance: 37 miles
Terrain: Rollers and flats at the start and end, but a big climb and big descent in the middle.
Ride style: The 37 mile option will have leaders and sweepers, but you are responsible to know the route and be able to save yourself. The longer distances will have no support and you will be responsible for finding your own way.
Please bring your running shoes (and possibly a change of shorts) for a short brick run following the ride. Once you return to your car after the ride, secure your bike, change quickly and head out along the side of Canada Road. You should target a 15 minute run, so head out for 7.5 minutes and then turn around.
EXTRA CREDIT OPTIONS:
We have two extra credit options for you this week:
Extra hills: This 53 mile option continues down to San Gregorio and returns on Tunitas Creek, a looooong climb.
Pescadero Loop: This famed 65 mile option heads to Pescadero and happily you can have your artichoke bread mid-ride at Arcangeli Store in Pescadero. Then you climb back up via San Gregorio and Tunitas Creek Road. This has significant hills so wear your big climbing pants.
If you plan to join one of our extra credit options, please include which ride in your RSVP below.

START LOCATION AND PARKING:
We'll park on the side of Cañada Road where it intersects HWY 92.
To get there, head south from San Francisco on 280. Allow 45 mins-1 hour from SF. Take exit 34 towards Half Moon Bay/92/Bunker Hill Road. As you exit, turn LEFT onto 35/Skyline and, after about a mile, turn LEFT again onto 92. Continue on 92 as it parallels 280 and then turn RIGHT onto Canada Road just before 92 takes you under 280. Park on the side of the road.
